We invite you to dine in our quirky, whimsical, boutique restaurant that brings a New Orleans-y dining/cultural experience to Osseo/Maple Grove, the twin cities area and beyond. 
Enjoy our dishes that are infused with the celebrated flavors of fusion and modern Creole cuisine with the beautiful results that come from from-scratch cooking.
Its a rich melting-pot of tastes: just like New Orleans.
We, however, do differ in one aspect of New Orleans cooking. We do not use the oil/flour roux in our dishes (although New Orleans uses this with abandon and it is the basis of many of their gumbos and ettoufees). We thicken our dishes with fresh and less oily ingredients. So in this aspect our dishes are non-NOLA.

Our Food & Dining Experience

Life is better when you can really enjoy and savor the evening. Nola Bar & Bistro offers a slow, stay as long as you want, talk, relax and enjoy the evening experience. Its fine dining in a casual ambiance where food is cooked from scratch (the slow food movement) which such few restaurants offer in the Maple Grove area (full of restaurant chains). NOLA strives to satisfy your appetite and delight the senses.

 

NOLA brings a vibrant and fresh attitude and vitality to its neighborhood to the delight of local foodies.   

Nola seems to be a restaurant slowly but surely finding its groove  (it opened this year and had new management take over in May), and a regular audience. The locals are finding out that it is a local gem and they are making it their treasured top picks like Lynn and Curt from Ramsey and Jake and Dina from Anoka and Paul and Meg Schulz from Osseo. NOLA is a cozy local favorite and a destination restaurant for the Twin cities and is just 20 minutes.NW of Minneapolis, 1/2 hour North Of Bloomington, just 12 minutes north of Plymouth, St. Louis Park,Golden Valley. Visit us charming old town of osseo and you will be enchanted. Dont forget we have Live Jazz nights on certain nights.
